Farewell Montana, I'll see you again. Soon.

Montana was a great experience. I went for the sole reason to see my boyfriend in the USAF, Travis Flynn. I never thought I'd say this but I am strangely glad he was stationed at Malmstrom AFB. At first, just as others would as well, I had my doubts about the state and kept saying, "I wish you were in the Southeast". The first day I was there I was blown away by the beauty and landscape of Great Falls, MT.

On the second day, we went to the local mall..and spent an unnecessary amount of money at Buckle.. I got a little familiar with the store names there. For example; Dick's Sporting Goods= Scheel's, Publix=Albertsons. Soon after we left the mall, we felt the urge to drive to Helena to see what that city had to offer. On the way there, I wined like a baby because I just wanted to stop every mile to take a picture. Yes, It was that beautiful. The town didn't have a whole lot to offer, but if you're one to appreciate landscape, you have what you want. We came to a stop where you can park you car, safely, and look over. It was so amazing! Everything was so clear and easy to see. No matter what, the sky would always look as if it was 'falling'.

The third day was the adventurous day. Travis and I decided to drive to Glacier Park. We got lost. VERY lost. So, we took advantage of being lost and stopped at multiple locations to take pictures. The weather was misty and foggy, but it honestly added a great effect to my images. As the day started to clear up we drove into (What I thought was part of Glacier Park) and I took a thousand (or more) pictures. It was so windy, my hands felt frozen. We saw so many intriguing things such as wild horses and indian cloths. Once we reached the entrance of Glacier Park we saw the fee was way too much, so I would have rathered pay the annual fee of just 10 dollars more. There was no clerk to take care of us so we mutually decided to drive back to our Hotel in Great Falls.

My last FULL day we decided to stay around town and just relax. By relax I mean go to car dealerships and bowl. Since neither of us were hungry until late that night, we just stalled around and explored a little more around the city. Travis took me to a restuarant called 'Jaker's'. It was delicious!

The morning I left, I was pathetic. Of course I can't hold in my emotions so I cried infront of everyone at the airport. But, security gave me tissues!

Great Falls is a beautiful area and I highly recommend any photographer to go there. Hopefully one day, I will be able to live there.

The only downside: No Sweet Tea, No Chick Fil A.
